Getting started
What is Training Wallet?
A secure web wallet where you store and manage the training credentials issued to you by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). You control what is shared and with whom.
How are credentials added to my wallet?
Issuer-backed credentials come from connected providers. You may also upload evidence for your own records, but uploaded or self-attested items are not treated as verified issuer credentials.
Can I use Training Wallet on my phone?
Yes. Training Wallet Web works as a PWA, and the iOS app has internal installed proof. Public mobile store availability is still a separate release step.
Is Training Wallet free for learners?
Yes. Creating an account, storing credentials, and generating verification links are all free for learners. Fees, if any, apply only to RTOs using the issuing integration.

Verification
How does verification work?
You generate a link from your wallet for a specific credential. Anyone who follows that link sees whether the credential is valid, who issued it, and when — nothing else.
Full explanation →Does the verifier need an account?
No. Verification links are public and require no login on the verifier's side. This is intentional — it removes friction for employers checking credentials on-site.
What does "valid" vs "expired" mean?
"Valid" means the credential is current as of the check date. "Expired" means the qualification had an end date and that date has passed. The issuing RTO sets expiry, not Training Wallet.
What if a credential status looks wrong?
Contact the RTO that issued the credential — they are responsible for the accuracy of what they publish. If you believe there is a platform error, email support.

Sharing credentials
How do I share a specific credential?
From your wallet dashboard, open an eligible credential and select "Share". This creates a consent-scoped verifier link where the credential is issuer-backed and shareable.
Can I set an expiry on a shared link?
Yes. When generating a link you can set how long it stays active — for example, 7 days or 30 days. After that the link returns no data to the verifier.
How do I revoke a link I already shared?
Go to your wallet dashboard, open the credential, and select "Manage links". Supported active links can be revoked from the wallet.
What does the verifier actually see?
The verifier sees the minimum credential details needed for that proof, such as credential name, issuer, dates, and current status. They do not see your other wallet records.
Privacy & control
Are my credentials private by default?
Yes. Wallet records are private by default. Sharing requires an explicit learner action or a consented workflow.
Can the RTO that issued my credential see my wallet?
No. RTOs can issue credentials to your wallet but cannot view your wallet contents, see your other credentials, or track whether you have shared anything.
Does Training Wallet sell or share my data?
No. We do not sell personal data or credential records to third parties. Anonymised, aggregated usage data may be used to improve the platform.
Can I download or export my data?
Account export is a planned support workflow. Until it is live, contact support for account data requests.

Account and access
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in page, select "Forgot password". A reset link is sent to your registered email address. The link is valid for 30 minutes.
Go to sign-in →How do I update my email address?
Go to Account settings inside your wallet. You will need to verify the new email address before the change takes effect.
How do I delete my account?
In Account settings, select "Delete account". Personal data is removed within 30 days. Note: credentials the RTO holds on their own systems are not affected by this deletion.

For RTOs and issuers
How does an RTO connect to Training Wallet?
RTOs connect through the Search Training platform integration. Eligible credentials can appear in learner wallets when the provider integration and issuance path are enabled.
Who is responsible for credential accuracy?
The issuing RTO. Training Wallet stores and relays what the RTO publishes. If a credential is incorrect, the RTO must correct it at source.
Can an RTO revoke a credential after issuing it?
Revocation support depends on the connected issuer workflow. Where supported, revoked credentials should no longer verify as current.
