Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2026. By creating a Training Wallet account or using any part of the platform, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Platform Overview
Training Wallet is a product of Search Training Pty Ltd. The platform provides three core capabilities:
- Wallet — a secure, personal web wallet where learners store credentials issued by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
- Sharing — consent-driven verification links that let you share a specific credential with an employer or third party, without exposing any other data in your wallet.
- Verification — a public tool that lets any recipient confirm a credential’s authenticity and status using a link or code issued by the learner.
Eligibility & Account Creation
To create a Training Wallet account you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age (or have guardian consent if under 18).
- Provide accurate identity information. Impersonating another person is prohibited.
- Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- Notify us promptly at security@trainingwallet.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access.
User Responsibilities
Accurate information
You must not upload or claim credentials you have not legitimately earned. Fraudulent credential claims are a violation of these terms and may be reported to the relevant RTO or authority.
Responsible sharing
You are responsible for every verification link you generate. Do not share links in contexts where doing so would be misleading or deceptive.
No automated scraping
You may not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access, copy, or harvest data from the platform beyond normal personal use.
Issuing RTOs & Credential Accuracy
RTOs that connect to Training Wallet to issue credentials are responsible for:
Delivery
Course delivery, assessment, and student results.
Issuance
Accuracy and validity of credentials pushed to learner wallets.
Compliance
Meeting all ASQA or relevant authority obligations independently of this platform.
Credential Disclaimer
“Training Wallet is a secure digital custodian and sharing tool for your professional credentials. We store and relay the credential data issued by RTOs; however, the issuing RTO remains solely responsible for the validity, accuracy, legal compliance, and accreditation status of the credentials they issue. Training Wallet makes no independent representations as to the authenticity of credentials beyond confirming they were recorded in our system by the named issuer.”
Verification Links
When a verifier follows a link you have shared:
- They see only the credential status and issuing RTO — not your name or any other wallet contents.
- They cannot download, copy, or store the credential data beyond what is displayed in their browser.
- Expired or revoked links return no credential information.
- Training Wallet logs that a link was accessed, but does not record the identity of the verifier.
Acceptable Use
You may not use Training Wallet to:
- ✕Misrepresent credentials you do not hold.
- ✕Circumvent authentication or access controls.
- ✕Harass, defame, or harm other users.
- ✕Upload malicious code or interfere with platform operations.
- ✕Resell or sublicence access to the platform.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension and referral to relevant authorities.
Service Availability
We strive to keep Training Wallet available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated via the platform where possible. Search Training Pty Ltd is not liable for losses resulting from platform downtime beyond what is required by applicable Australian consumer law.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection legislation.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms periodically. When we make material changes we will notify registered users by email and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
